SP Energy Networks, Cross Border Connection



Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) Report


SP Energy Networks has published a report on the first round of consultation on the Cross Border Connection planned in the Scottish Borders.   


Cross Border Connection would see a new power line running north-south from a proposed substation north of Galashiels, to a point at the Scotland-England border, south of Newcastleton in the Scottish Borders to meet increased demand from the electrification of heat and transport and strengthen security of supply.  ​

Defibrillator training



LAMCC Defibrillator training has been arranged for
Thursday 22nd May in Lilliesleaf village hall from 6pm to 8pm ❤️


This is a drop-in session for LAM residents and run by experienced trainers who will bring manikins and training defibrillators to teach us all how to use them. The more people who know how to use this life saving equipment, the better.
